My husband and I celebrated my daughter’s birthday this morning at The Diner of Dallas, even though it’s in Farmers Branch. We sat in Missy’s section and were fabulously served. Be sure sit in her section and to ask her about her two grandchildren. I’ve had a craving for Eggs Benedict for the last week or so and that’s what I ordered with a side of grits, of course. My husband had the Hash Browns with two biscuits and gravy. Grits and one biscuit with a little bit of gravy were left. I took loads of pictures, but Google Maps is limiting 24 at a time. I’ll keep doing bunches. Oh, if your birth date is before 1960 you’ll fit right in I met four regulars…two that go there everyday and and cute couple visit three times/weekly. Tuesday-My son and his lovely wife out for brunch to celebrate her birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Of course I asked Missy where one of her tables was, because last time…our first time here, Missy made us feel welcomed.
Great lil hole in the wall diner! Just like the sign says, nothing but good cooking going on here! Took my family on our trip to Dallas and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. 10/10 will recommend!
Susan was outstanding and so warm and attentive. She was knowledgeable about menu items and cared about our first time at this place. Retro feel , truly an authentic experience sending me back in time to a day when things seemed so much simpler. Everything we had was delicious. The rolls and biscuits were flaky and moist and apparently the baker has been there for thirty years. You can taste the care that goes into this food. Will return as soon as possible to try all the home cooked favorites and be a part of something that feels timeless and historic, and perfectly situated in my mind as something truly unforgettable.

Great old school diner. It's going to sound cliché but it's a serious nostalgic diner spot complete with a pie display and counter seating. Ordered the ham breakfast, and it was delicious! All the waitresses were friendly and kept the coffee hot and topped off. 100% need to check this gem out!
Oh My God a must visit place love the cherry pie and banana pudding. Of course Diner coffee love it great service love the experience and the ambience.
Our new spot! There is such a sense of community here at this place. It truly touched my heart to be welcomed with a smile, and the customer service is outstanding! Our waitress, especially BK was truly a sweetheart! You can tell that she truly cares about her customers. The food was very well proportioned and extremely delicious!

The outside sign was very misleading. It states "not good looking". The place is absolutely adorable and has a good nostalgic feel to it. The staff is insanely inviting and friendly. Omg and the bread!!!!! So soft and delicious! Our waitress told us the bakery bakes everything fresh every day. My sisters and I each had different plates and tried out eachothers plates. I highly reccomend the pot roast. The highlight of the food is the fact that none of the food is salty. Its flavorful but not salty or greasy. Which is very much appreciated by someone like myself without a gallbladder. The portions are good and the pricing was cheaper than expected. If we hadn't been full we would've tried every dessert. We settled for the banana pudding pie to share. DELICIOUS! All in all, if I ever make a trip to Dallas again, this will be one of my stops for a meal.
This diner is amazing! Very friendly and welcoming staff, affordable prices, great food and pies. I got the eggs Benedict and French silk pie. Both were excellent. They have wonderful pie options and they’re made fresh. The decor is charming with a 1950s vibe that really adds to the overall experience. Highly recommend!
